How
long does it take to get my account created? In most cases we can have you setup
and ready to go within a few hours. This does not apply, however, to
domain name resolution which usually takes between 48-72 hours.
Additionally, setup times may vary on
weekends. |
What
if I go over the allotted bandwidth for the plan I signed up for? This is a
very common occurrance as most webmasters will have a difficult time
estimating the amount of bandwidth necessary for their site. If this
happens, we simply move you to the next level of billing. For
instance, if you exceed the allotted bandwidth for Plan 2, you would
automatically be moved to Plan 3 and billed
accordingly. |
Can
I have remote administration capabilities such as PcAnywhere or telnet/SSH? We do not allow PcAnywhere access to any of our
servers. We do, however, offer SSH
access. |
How
do I transfer files to my account? You
must download an FTP client such as CuteFTP or WSFTP. The instructions
for use of your FTP client are provided by the manufacturor. |
Is
SSL available? Yes. We charge a one-time setup fee of $75.00 for
each SSL certificate to be installed (this price does not include
the SSL certificate itself). |
Can
I use programming technology such as Java, C++, C, etc.? You can develop cgi
scripts based on any language you wish. However, we do not allow
access to C/C++ compilers on our machines for security reasons.
Additionally, if you require Java technology such as JSP and/or
Servlets, there is a one-time setup fee of $150.00 and a $20.00 per
month addendum. |
Is
database software included? We provide you with MySQL, PGSQL, PHPBB,
PHPChat and much more. |

How
much do you charge for website design? This is a very difficult
question to answer. The price depends on the amount of work to be done
as well as the amount of programming necessary. We would be more than happy
to work up a free custom quote for you based on your specifications. Contact

Is
there a set price for Macromedia Flash� design? Yes. We charge $100.00 per hour for
all Flash� animations. |
Do
you guarantee that a site designed by you will succeed? It would be impossible to
guarantee the financial success of any website. Therefore, we do not
guarantee financial results, much as stockbrokers do not guarantee
the results of any stock. We do, however, guarantee that a site
designed by us will be unique and visually impressive, which gives
your site the best chances for
success. |
If
my site does not do well, will you refund my money? Believe it or not, we have
actually been asked this very question. The simple answer is
absolutely not. The design fees are based on paying our developers
salaries, and our developers would not appreciate having the
paychecks debited for customers who did not do as well as
expected. |
Instead
of paying a set design fee, can I offer you a percentage of whatever my
site earns as payment for design? Again,
design fees are used to pay our developers salaries. We cannot pay our
developers with possible future earnings, so the answer to this question
is "no". |
